Welcome to the Weatherbird WikiEdit

This is a wiki all about the Weatherbird, who is the oldest daily running cartoon. He is 110 years old and was created on February 11, 1901 by Harry B. Martin who was an artist for the Post-Dispatch, and he was originally named "Little Dickey Bird." Since then Weatherbird has been drawn by six different people:

2. Oscar Chopin
3. S. Charlisle Martin
4. Amadee Wohlschlaeger
5. Albert Schweitzer
6. Dan Martin

Since Februry 1901 he has appeared in every edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch providing weather information and current news stories. Weatherbird currently resides in St. Louis on the St. Louis Newspaper, the Post-Dispatch.
